LOT 64: Hayes

Hayes has many miles out in the mountains of Colorado trail riding and packing. He is an easy gelding to get along with and stands an impressive 15.2 hands. Hayes has professional training under his belt as well and could excel in ranch and trail classes should his new owner wish to show him. He has also been ridden in English tack and taken over cross rails. He has been ridden on a low level cross country course as well and could excel in many directions. 

Hayes has an easy trot to rate and sit. He will ride one handed on a loose rein and will also accept the contact of an English rider. He has a balanced and easy canter and is broke enough to stay in it. He carries flags, offers a simple lead change, and will swing a rope. For those that like hair, Hayes has a full, thick, and long tail and a full mane. 

Out on the trail, he is bold and confident. He has not offered to spook at the exotics next door, the donkeys in our field, or at our yak. He can be ponied both by another horse and by an atv. He will ride through rugged terrain and water and is very sure footed. We are excited to bring this very special and unique young gelding to you!
